Forest safety benchmarking portal

The new forest safety benchmarking portal is now receiving historic data from 14 participant companies, which will provide info for Australian forest stately data.

This system will enable participating companies to compare their monthly safety performance with the Australian national average and top quartile performance.

The benchmarking portal is expected to be launched early in the New Year. 

Lag indicators will include: 

  • Lost time injury rates frequency
  • Lost time injury severity rate

Lead indicators will include:

  • Near misses
  • Safety audits undertaken
  • Number of outstanding safety issues month end
