Nailplated timber roof trusses new Standard published

The new Standard, AS 1720.5 Timber Structures – Nailplated Truss Design, has now been published.  The development of AS 1720.5 was coordinated by FWPA and jointly funded and developed by Pryda, MiTek, Multinail, Frame & Truss Manufacturers Association with support from Standards Australia.

The need for this Standard arose following a Coroner’s report into the collapse of a commercial roof truss in South Australia that resulted in the death of two residents.
