FWPA’s world-leading WoodSolutions website has just climbed to another level, with a new and improved version launched in September. Suppliers of timber and timber products can now submit case studies to show off their products and services, while architects and building designers have a one-stop shop to identify and source products. Since it was first launched five years ago, the WoodSolutions website has grown to become the world’s leading resource of its kind, now attracting some 3,000 visitors each working day.
The new and improved version that recently launched takes something good – and makes it even better.
In planning the new website, FWPA consulted with its target audience of architects and building specifiers to understand how they used WoodSolutions – and incorporated their feedback into the new version.
Suppliers and purchasers can also upload their own case studies, subject to moderation, to showcase their products and services.
The result is a one-stop online resource where people can be inspired to use wood and wood products by seeing case studies, identify the materials they need, understand how to use them and then source them through the supplier section.
Supplier listings are free to FWPA members, with the option of providing a short company description, a logo, and an external link to the supplier’s website.
With improved navigation and functionality throughout, the new website is part of FWPA’s ongoing commitment to lead the charge in terms of education, and to enhance the quality and availability of information for the design and build industries.
