Professional development – collaborative and regional leadership

FWPA’s new ‘For Our Future’ Regional Forestry Collaborative Leadership Program for mid-level managers is set to kick off in the first week of March, with 13 registrations for the Western Australian program. If you know (or are) a promising potential future industry leader, it’s not too late to register interest.

FWPA is proud to take an active role in helping equip future leaders with industry-leading skills and knowledge.

Participants in our new leadership training initiative will become part of stronger regional and national cohorts, while having a better understanding of industry issues and learning best-practice skills.

The first training workshop will be held by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation this month in Western Australia, with Mount Gambier and Upper Murray workshops soon to follow. The program will culminate in a national session in Melbourne in June.

Interested? There is still time to register your details on the FWPA website.

This training opportunity has been subsidised by FWPA, however a nominal fee of $1,000 applies and participants need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
