FWPA encourages you to prepare your research, development and extension proposals before the 23 March deadline arrives, to capitalise on funds available for the 2018-19 financial year and onwards.
Significant project funding will be available for initiatives addressing FWPA program priorities – but hurry, the deadline for proposals is 23 March 2018.
In addition to funding from industry levies, voluntary matched funding will once again be made available thanks to the new funding structure set up by the Australian Government.
Project outcomes should be readily transferable to the wider industry base with a focus on measurable uptake and adoption. Strong emphasis should be placed on direct industry participation and input into the project activities.
For projects funded from industry levies, a minimum of 50 per cent stakeholder co-investment (cash and in-kind) is required. FWPA project funding is generally provided for projects of up to three years duration and up to $200,000 per year, though larger budgets can be allocated on a case-by-case basis.
Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to fund your important research. Completed proposals including confirmed project co-investments, as well as letters of support and endorsement, are due by Friday 23 March 2018.
Check out the Call for Proposals document for further details on funding mechanisms and how to submit.
