Standards Australia works with industry to improve standards development process

The fact there are more than 260 Standards Australia timber publications, eight timber committees and one Timber Standards Coordination Group suggests there’s room for simplification – and at a recent Forum the decision was made to do just that.

In late August 2013 nearly 50 people, representing Standards Australia, timber committee members and the timber industry linked from around Australia and New Zealand to convene a virtual forum, convened by Standards Australia.
