WoodSolutions technical field force pilot

FWPA is seeking financial commitment from industry to co-fund a pilot program of the WoodSolutions technical field force. In-principal commitments have already been received from industry leaders and show an appreciation of the significant benefits of participation.

Overseas experience has shown the value of having a technical field force to advise architects, engineers and others involved in the design and construction process about the use of wood and wood products. To this end, FWPA is seeking financial commitment from industry to fund a pilot program of the WoodSolutions technical field force in Victoria.

Supporting this initiative has potentially valuable returns for industry, with field force personnel establishing direct connections to material specifiers and growing market volume for participants’ products and services.

To date, in-principal commitments have been received from many industry-leading companies and organisations. Positive feedback has been received from a wide range of other industry businesses and bodies. Once a core of funding has been secured, discussions will be initiated with other material and systems suppliers who will also benefit from their products being supported by the field force.
