The biennial World Conference on Timber Engineering (WCTE) being held on 22 -25 August, is the premier international event for both practicing and academic timber engineers. FWPA are offering an outstanding opportunity for post-graduate students.
Up to eight students may be chosen to attend the conference allocating a bursary of $3,500 for each student, to cover conference fees and travel/accommodation costs. The student registration fee is 440 Euros (approximately A$700). To take advantage of the student price they will need to show their Student ID Card at the conference.
The potential students must be undertaking a Masters or PhD with Timber as the main theme of the research. The additional funds will assist with expenses in attending (travel/accommodation).
