This research project is designed to establish viable supply chains for currently underutilised species and resources in native forest areas, specifically Tasmanian Acacia species and WA Goldfields species recovered from mine site clearing operations.
The project will develop market opportunity profiles for each species through
- resource definition
- material characterisation
- establishing potential producer and user profiles, and
- marketplace assessments.
