New WoodSolutions Website Launching Soon
Based on extensive user feedback, Forest & Wood Products Australia (FWPA) is preparing to unveil a completely rebuilt WoodSolutions website at the end of May, — designed to better educate, connect, and empower Australia’s design and construction professionals to specify and use more timber.
FWPA is excited to announce the upcoming launch of a fully revamped WoodSolutions website, scheduled for the end of May. The new site directly supports FWPA’s mission to grow demand and value for wood products by improving access to trusted information, inspiration, and supply chain connections — all in one place. This major update not only improves the user experience for architects, engineers, and builders, but delivers new ways for FWPA members to showcase products, projects, and expertise to a highly engaged audience.
This major update brings improvements and new features developed in response to industry input. The goal is to make it easier than ever for design and construction professionals to find the information and inspiration they need to use more timber in the built environment.
What This Means for FWPA Members
The new WoodSolutions website becomes a more visible showcase for member company products, projects, and expertise. Everything on the new WoodSolutions site is designed to grow the market for timber by making it easier for specifiers to choose wood — and to connect with trusted suppliers. For FWPA member companies, this means more opportunities to be discovered, specified, and involved in high-profile projects.
The revamped supplier listings allow member companies to stand out with verified profiles, complete with logos, product information, and direct links. This means that when an architect or builder searches for a material or service, FWPA members’ offerings are prominently and credibly presented.
Members will also enjoy the exposure gained through the ability to link their products to showcased projects, FWPA member companies can demonstrate how their timber solutions perform in real-world applications. This cross-linking not only promotes the member’s products to every visitor browsing that project, but it also highlights the member’s contribution to successful outcomes in the built environment. It’s a powerful new way for members to share their expertise and get recognition through WoodSolutions’ high-traffic channels.
Additionally, by strengthening WoodSolutions timber education content, the rebuild will draw an even larger audience of design and build professionals to the site. This creates more opportunities for FWPA members to connect with potential clients and collaborators. The upgraded site will help foster better connections across the industry – linking product suppliers with specifiers and helping grow the network of timber professionals.
Key improvements include:
- Improved search functionality
- Modern, intuitive user experience
- Enhanced supplier listings
- New case study and project promotion
- Product-to-project linking
- Updated resources and content
All these enhancements stem from one guiding principle: listening to the WoodSolutions community.
“We built the new WoodSolutions site based on extensive feedback from and consultation with the people who use it,” said Kevin Peachey, Head of Built Environment Programs at FWPA.
“Our priority was to create a platform that truly meets the needs of design and construction professionals. We’ve made it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for and we’ve created richer content linking products to real projects. Ultimately, we want to support and inspire architects, engineers, and builders to use more timber by giving them the knowledge, resources, and connections they need, all in one place.”
