Building blocks of the future – why timber is on the way up

Ric Sinclair, Managing Director of Forest & Wood Products Australia gave a presentation at Frame Australia 2014.

Around the world, the timber industry is on the way up (and it’s not just about building heights). Over the last few years there has been a number of important changes in the timber industry and its interaction with the built environment that is helping build new markets, improved systems and stronger value chains. FWPA is helping to facilitate these changes in the Australian market through its generic marketing, R&D investments  and standards and codes program.
