This project collected information about preferred features of timber cladding systems, and prototyped a timber cladding system. The literature review and industry survey served to generate ideas for product development. This also identified that timber cladding should try to develop points of difference from competing cladding products. The project developed new components or variations on traditional components to form an integrated cladding system—the Flatline System.
