Timber Floor Research: Literature Review

This report details a literature search of available local and international information relating to timber flooring and any unique floor systems other than the standard bearer and joist system used in Australia. In addition, information on domestic foundation systems, or foundation systems that could be adapted to domestic use, was searched with emphasis on any new methods of supporting a brick wall without traditional concrete strip footings.
