Project Steering Committees play a central role in supporting FWPA-funded research. Every project is required to meet agreed milestones, and these checkpoints help ensure that the work is progressing as planned and continues to align with the needs of industry.
To support this process, Project Steering Committee members review each milestone, provide guidance to the researcher, and confirm whether the project has delivered the outputs outlined in the Research Agreement.
Their endorsement is an important mechanism for maintaining accountability, addressing emerging issues early, and ensuring the research stays relevant and on track.
