Imports of sawn hardwood down 28% year-ended November

Year-ended November 2023, sawn hardwood imports declined 28.2% to 44,539 m3. In November itself, imports totalled 3,979 m3, at an average price of AUDFob1,917/m3 – 81% higher than previous month. The chart shows the price remains mobile, as expected for a relatively small and variable trade.
