Mr Ron Adams, chairman of Forest and Wood Products Australia Limited (FWPA) has announced that he will be stepping down from the Board following the company’s annual general meeting on 12th November, 2015.
Ron has been chairman of FWPA since its formation in September 2007 and was previously a director, and then chairman, of the predecessor organisation (FWPRDC). As chairman and an active industry participant, Ron has played a key role in the transition of the organisation from a statutory authority of the Australian Government with a singular focus on R&D investment to a broader industry-owned services company.
